How often do you connect to the World of Spirit? An Ancestor? A God or Goddess? A Being in the Unseen? We have many names for the Other Worldly Beings. Even if you connect to the Beings of Old Earth, the Ancients. Whomever it is that your heart and soul connects to. Here are some simple tips for both establishing and strengthening your ties to them.

  1. Set Up Alter Space
    • Set up a dedicated space in your home as an alter for them. Including symbols associated with them. Such as images, objects, items, etc. This is a place you can make regular offerings.
  2. Offerings
    • Offer food, herbs, and other items associated with the other worldly being. Even including honey, favorite foods & items such as lavender, light a candle, water. Make these offerings at your alter or at a crossroads. Something small like incense or even just lighting a candle in their honor is noticed and appreciated. Schedule a regular offering practice to establish stronger ties and you will notice their presence more & more.
  3. Divination
    • Practice a divination method like tarot, runes, scrying, etc. Ask then for guidance and insight during your divination sessions. The more you connect with them during these sessions, the more you will trust your own intuition.
  4. Call Upon Them in Your Magic & Wisdom
    • Incorporate invocations to them in your magical practices. Call upon them for protection, wisdom & guidance during your rituals. Trust them to be present.
  5. Spend Time in the Liminal
    • Visit a crossroads and spend time there in contemplation or meditation. Crossroads are sacred spaces, and this can be a powerful way to  connect with them. Feel for them in the shadows, the edge of the woods, pause in your doorway and feel the transition where the world is at your back and your home is in front of you. The key is to pause and FEEL in these spaces, these thresholds where they exist.

Embarking on this spiritual journey requires dedication and consistency. Cultivate it into a daily habit. Remember, the spiritual realm is ever-present, observing and listening—its gaze never wavers from us. Once you've welcomed the World of Spirit into your life, solitude becomes a concept of the past. Be reassured that you are always accompanied by an invisible support team, ready to assist whenever you reach out. I decree it to be so. My words, my feelings, my command. And so it is! (It is always best to invoke words. To Say Out loud!)
